Please join us on Sunday, April 20th at 10:30AM to celebrate Easter at St. John's United Church of Christ! We will be decorating a Flower Cross with Easter Lilies!
Holy Week Joint Services
Please join us during Holy Week for Joint Services with Grace Immanuel UCC and St. Andrew UCC church! Holy Week runs through the 13th of April till the 19th, ending on Easter Sunday (20th of April).
- Maundy Thursday will be April 17th at 6PM at Grace Immanuel
- Good Friday will be April 18th at 6PM at St. John's

Ash Wednesday Joint Service
Please join us March 5th at Grace Immanuel for our Joint Ash Wednesday Service at 6:00PM! From noon till 1:30PM, we will also be providing Come and Go Ashes at St. Johns, where you can drive up or walk through the sanctuary to receive your ashes. Hope to see you there!
Christmas Eve Candlelight Service
Please join us Tuesday, December 24th at Saint John's for our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service! Those of all faith backgrounds are welcomed; we will shut off all the lights in the sanctuary and close the service by lighting each other's candles. We hope to see you there at 5:30PM!
Game Nights
Every Third Thursday each month, we host a game night in the church sanctuary. Come enjoy pizza and fellowship, and bring your favorite game to share!
Community Involvement
We love Nulu! You will find our doors open for most local street festivals and events - please stop in and say hello!
We are also involved in a number of events across Louisville, including the Louisville Pride Festival and partnering with other UCC congregations.
Every month with a Fifth Sunday, we have lunch and invite a member of the community to talk with us. Past guests have included Central Louisville Community Ministries and SAFY of Louisville.
We are constantly looking for new ways to partner with our community - if you have any ideas, please let us know!
Church Community
Every Sunday, we have an unstructured social hour after service in the narthex (or, weather permitting, outside!).
We have multiple social events that meet monthly, including our Libations and Conversations every first Tuesday and the St. John Book Group.
Lift Every Voice
Our choir is mostly made up of volunteers and church members - they meet twice a week during the choir season (September - May), on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings before service.
