OUR LEADERSHIP
Pastor
Rev. John Kupar joined St. John UCC as pastor in 2026. An ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), he earned degrees from the University of Kentucky and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. John has served churches in Kentucky and Florida and is passionate about creative worship, welcoming community, and helping faith take shape in everyday life. Outside of ministry, he enjoys disc golf, playing the banjo, and spending time with his wife and children.
Music Minister
Nicholas Reynolds has been a member of St. John UCC since 2013 when he moved to Louisville from Austin Texas. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance, he has served as St. John’s music director and organist ever since. Nicholas currently lives in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville with his dog, Cassie, and bird, Edgar.
